Hello virtual blogging world! I figured it was time I caught up with this generation! So here I am; ready to begin my blogging journey. I thought about giving a boring recap of my life thus far, but then I decided that it is just that; boring! So I figured that I would just start with something a little bit better. I'll give a quick background to my husband and I and then this blog will be about our life together and the challenges and wonderful things that happen to us.
My husband, Ryan, and I met when I was 18. I was fresh out of high school and thought I was invincible. I met him when I didn't know I needed a friend. And he was the best friend I could have ever hoped for. But we didn't want the same things at first. I was ready to jump into a relationship, and see where things could lead. He was in the military and was not looking to get into anything serious; friendship was all he was looking for. Somehow, through all of this; we ended up wanting the same thing and our fairy tale began.
After 4 months together; he went on his first deployment and I spent a lot of time being a complete baby and trying to deal with being alone for awhile. But before I knew it, he was home and everything was back to normal. It had been almost a year together when we finally decided to get married, and we started planning. The date was set; September 26th, 2009. After a year of planning; we had a beautiful ceremony and we finally began our life together.
It has been about a year and a half and things are just as wonderful as they were in the very beginning. We have been blessed enough to be able to go on some very fun vacations, and we've bought a house together. Things are going pretty well as far as I can tell, and I cannot wait to see where life leads us in the years to come!
